Dear Parents and Students,
I would like to take this opportunity to update San Marin's efforts at "Going Green." As one of the co-chairs of the Novato Unified School District's Sustainability Committee, San Marin is well represented; also on the committee are Marie Chan, a parent at San Marin and active in helping the school become a more environmentally friendly organization; and Annan Paterson, one of the school's counselors is also very active in Sustainable Novato and helping San Marin become a model for Sustainability. |

The first semester is coming to an end, and the beginning of the second semester is right around the corner. We are already planning ahead to the 2009-2010 school year. Counselors will be making presentations to Social Studies (and Health) classes, and scheduling appointments to meet with students about their schedule for next year.
